Figure: Robot Damashii Shinkirou (Code Geass)
Zero’s own Knightmare Frame, the Shinkirou, has arrived after quite a lengthy wait for Bandai re-release the Robot Damashii figure. This will most likely be my final figure for the year, and probably the last Knightmare Frame for my collection. I have the Lancelot Albion, Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. and now Shinkirou from the Robot Damashii line, as well as model kits of the original Lancelot and Guren, and I think that’s quite enough for me for the time being. Given that this is a re-release and the original release was in April this year, I won’t bother with box or accessory shots. Instead, let’s just get straight to the posed figure shots.
The proportions and colour scheme of the Shinkirou are well represented by this figure.
The chest opens up, ready to fire the Zero Beam.
Though the connectors to the figure are too obvious for my liking, the energy shield itself looks pretty good.
The figure is able to transform into Fortress Mode, which is a fairly well-implemented gimmick.
The Shinkirou comes with less accessories than the Lancelot Albion or Guren S.E.I.T.E.N., but the F.L.E.I.J.A. Eliminator is a nice inclusion.
Looks nice.
But its not my favorte Knightmare.
I still prefer Guren S.E.I.T.E.N.
